Part-Time Housekeeper — Private Family Home, West Malling (ME19)
£16–20/hr | 2–3 hrs/day, mornings Mon–Fri | Long-term role
We are a family of six living in a private home near West Malling, and we are looking for a dependable housekeeper to help us keep the household running smoothly. This is a housekeeping role within a private home, not a commercial cleaning round: we want someone who will get to know the house and how we live, and take genuine care of it. The role is part-time, around 2-3 hours each morning, and we would very much like this to become a long-term arrangement.
The role:
- Daily reset of the house: beds, linen, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Laundry: washing, drying and hanging; ironing if needed
- Kitchen: clearing and resetting after meals
- Cleaning: dusting, vacuuming and hard floors as part of the daily reset
- Keeping things organised: children's kit, school items, linen and supplies
What we're looking for:
- At least 3 years' experience in private households, with references we can contact
- Someone who notices what needs doing without being asked
- Based within easy reach of ME19, with their own transport
- Trustworthy and discreet, as you will be in our home and around our children
- Available weekday mornings for 2-3 hours a day, the regularity is important for us
