Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team near Reading. This is a day shift position, ideal for a skilled engineer with experience operating, setting, and programming CNC machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, operate, and programme CNC mill-turn or milling machines
- Work with Mazatrol, Hurco, or Fanuc controls
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure components are produced to high quality standards
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and adjustments
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (milling or mill-turn)
- Ability to set and programme CNC machines
- Experience with Mazatrol, Hurco, or Fanuc controls
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
