Job Title: Trainee / Junior Shipping Broker (Dry Bulk)

The Role: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Trainee / Junior Broker based in London to support our core fixing operations. You will act as the "intelligence hub" of our desk, processing market information and assisting with day-to-day desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Fixture Operations: Work closely with our operations team to assist with post-fixture administration
- Fleet & Cargo Tracking: Maintain and continuously update real-time vessel position lists, open ship availabilities, and cargo orders.
- Commercial Support: Assist senior brokers in drafting recaps, preparing market updates, and supporting prompt, professional communication with shipowners and charterers.
Requirements:
- Language: Native in Mandarin Chinese (essential for shipowner communication) and professional operational English.
- Location & Visa: Must be based in the UK with full legal working rights.
- Education: Background in Maritime Studies, Shipping & Finance, International Trade, Maritime Law, or relevant Business disciplines
- Skills & Personality: Extremely self-disciplined, highly responsive, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in dry bulk broking.
