We are looking to add the right candidate to our Summit Cafe team based inside Tiso. The position is 10 hours per week, worked over 2 shifts, with occasional holiday cover required to take hours to 15 hours over 3 shifts. Candidates must be available both days at weekend and at least one other day Monday-Friday to provide rota options.
The duties include the following, amongst other reasonable duties required by the business:
Main Responsibilities
- Taking customer orders and receiving payments
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Making coffees and other drinks to a high standard
- Clearing tables and ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Contributing to a positive work environment
Pay rates are in accordance with national living wage for under 21s and £12.75 per hour for those aged 21 and over.
Previous experience of working in a similar hospitality environment is required. Candidates must be customer focused in order to keep up with high levels of service created and followed at Summit Cafe. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to lead a small team positively.
