UFC Gym London City Road is seeking passionate, energetic, and highly motivated Martial Arts Coaches to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced coaches who are committed to helping members develop their skills, achieve their fitness goals, and enjoy an exceptional training experience.
As a Martial Arts Coach, you will be responsible for delivering engaging group classes across a range of martial arts disciplines, conducting one-to-one coaching sessions, welcoming prospective members through gym tours, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Whether you're looking for a full-time or part-time role, you'll be joining a dynamic and supportive team within one of the world's most recognised fitness and combat sports brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality fitness and martial arts style classes to members of varying ages and skill levels
- Plan and lead safe, engaging, and progressive training sessions
- Conduct one-to-one coaching and personal training sessions, earning additional commission on all sessions delivered
- Support member development by providing technical instruction, motivation, and ongoing coaching
- Deliver gym tours to prospective members and showcase UFC Gym's facilities and services
- Build strong relationships with members to encourage retention and engagement
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the gym
- Assist with reception, member enquiries, and general gym operations as required
- Support club events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives
- Ensure all coaching sessions are delivered in line with company standards and health and safety procedures
- Represent the UFC Gym brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous coaching experience in martial arts, combat sports, or fitness environments preferred
- Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for martial arts, fitness, and helping people achieve their goals
- Ability to coach individuals and groups of young people in an engaging and motivating manner
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated attitude
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences
