Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting on staff to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, providing exceptional guest service in a lively and welcoming environment. Candidates should possess a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and be eager to work in a dynamic setting. Previous experience in restaurants or bars required. Working hours is from 3.45pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and 11pm Friday and Saturday. Full-time is 5 days and part time is 2/3 days. All positions will be on a set day rate which is well above minimum wage, this will be discussed with each applicant and is paid weekly. Tips are also on top. These are for permanent roles.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle cash or card transactions accurately and process payments promptly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining area at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and basic maths skills are advantageous
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary activities can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to deliver exceptional guest services with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively

Pay: £12.71-£18.58 per hour
