Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest areas, corridors, and service spaces are hygienic, welcoming, and well-presented. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional hospitality environment, contributing to an excellent guest experience. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, corridors, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
- Assist with additional tasks such as restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or experience in hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory
- Janitorial or cleaning experience is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: £12.21-£17.74 per hour
