We are a local gymnastics centre based in Hartlepool and we hold classes in gym tots, recreation, general gymnastics, artistic gymnastics and tumbling. We are looking for somebody with a passion for gymnastics who can help the club grow.
We require 2 x tumbling coaches - 1 full time and 1 part time. The part time coach will be required to coach after school hours within the gym and also a Saturday morning (hours to be discussed). There will also be a requirement to attend weekend competitions and additional holiday cover if required.
The full time coaching position hours will also include coaching during the day within the gymnastics centre (home education classes - term time only/ open play sessions and activity days - during school holidays) and primary school classes during term time. Some recreational classes are also included in the hours.
The full time position would require at least a Level 2 (tumbling preferred) and the part time position would also preferably be a Level 2 qualification but a Level 1 would be considered for the right person who would like to progress to a Level 2.
The roles will include taking charge of recreational tumbling classes through to regional and national squad classes. The person will be responsible for the full running of sessions including session planning, organising of squads, talent ID.
A DBS and current BG Registration are required.
