Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team, somebody that can work alone and also within a team.
We carry out works across Domestic / Commercial / Renewable sectors
Applicant will need to be organised and efficient and great at dealing with clients helping us continue to grow our great reputation.
Must be fully qualified
Responsibilities
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks
- Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion
- Documenting work performed and updating maintenance records accurately
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical trade
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and testing equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects is advantageous
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred
