What you will be doing:
Sampling incoming lorry loads of grain and carrying out quality checks before they are accepted into the site
Monitoring the intake process and liaising with drivers to keep operations running smoothly
Recording quality results and maintaining accurate data for internal quality control
Flagging and escalating any issues where loads do not meet required standards
Supporting the team with ship loading operations, including learning to operate the loading spout (working at height involved)
Learning to use the control system that manages grain movement within the silos
Gaining an understanding of grain storage conditions and how we maintain quality standards
Getting involved in a wide range of practical, hands-on tasks to help keep the site running efficiently
Flexible working hours required during peak harvest - including occasional evenings and weekends depending on shipping schedules
