Odyssey Social Care is a leading provider of residential care services for young people aged 7–18 who are unable to live with their families. Our mission is to create safe, supportive environments where young people can recover, develop, and reach their full potential.
We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers / Residential Care Workers to join our teams across a number of residential services nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to assessments and behaviour management plans in line with individual care plans
- Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting
- Facilitate individual and group educational and developmental activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and external professionals
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and confidentiality of young people at all times
- Participate in training and continuous professional development
Requirements
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
- Full, clean manual driving licence (valid for use in Ireland)
- Experience working with teenagers who may display challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Irish National Standards for Children’s Residential Centres (desirable)

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

Salary & Benefits
- Social Care Worker: €37,440 – €41,184 (including full overnight rates)
- 48-hour work week (3 × 16-hour shifts or 2 × 24-hour shifts)
