We are looking for a Systems Analyst to analyse business processes, identify system improvements and support the successful delivery of technology projects. You will work closely with operational teams, software developers and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear and effective system solutions.
This is a mid level position suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping technical and non technical teams work together.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Analysis:
Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements and identify opportunities for system improvements.
Process Mapping:
Review existing workflows and create clear process maps, system diagrams and functional documentation.
System Solution Design:
Translate business requirements into functional specifications that can be understood and implemented by technical teams.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Prepare test scenarios, support user acceptance testing and document system issues before new features or updates are released.
Data Analysis:
Review system data, identify inconsistencies and produce reports that support operational and project decisions.
Project Support:
Work with project managers, developers and business users throughout the system development and implementation process.
System Implementation:
Support system configuration, data migration, user training and the rollout of new technology solutions.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate system documentation, user guides, process notes and change records.
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear updates on requirements, system changes, testing results and project progress.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or in a similar technology focused role.
Technical Knowledge:
A practical understanding of business systems, databases, system integrations and software development processes.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to review complex processes and recommend practical improvements.
Documentation:
Experience preparing business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and testing documentation.
Tools:
Experience using Microsoft Excel, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar analysis and documentation tools is desirable.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Education:
A degree or relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related subject is preferred.
Mindset:
You are organised, detail focused and comfortable managing several tasks while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication.
Pay: £45,564.00-£64,100.00 per year
