We are seeking a Film and Television Production Manager to support the development of film and television projects from the initial concept stage through to pre-production.
The successful candidate will work closely with the company director, writers, script consultants and other creative professionals to ensure that projects progress in an organised and timely manner.
Main duties
- Assist the company director with the development of film and television projects from the initial concept stage through to pre-production.
- Coordinate the preparation, review and revision of scripts and other project materials.
- Liaise with writers, script consultants and other contributors on behalf of the company.
- Help organise project meetings, maintain records of key decisions and follow up on agreed actions.
- Monitor deadlines and keep project documents, script drafts and development materials organised and up to date.
- Assist with preparing project materials and practical arrangements required for the transition into pre-production.
- Provide general production and administrative support across the company’s ongoing projects.
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience in film, television, media production or project coordination.
- A good understanding of script development and the stages involved in preparing a project for production.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- The ability to manage deadlines and coordinate several contributors at the same time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project records.
- The ability to work independently while taking direction from the company director.
- Knowledge of additional languages is preferred.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
