We're looking for a Leisure Duty Manager who shares that passion and wants to be part of a growing business that genuinely puts people first.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You'll be responsible for helping to oversee the day-to-day running of the club, ensuring our members receive excellent service and that our facilities remain safe, clean and welcoming at all times.
You'll play an important role within both the leisure club and our growing swim school programme, supporting customers, assisting with enquiries and helping us continue to deliver an exceptional experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as Duty Manager and supporting the day-to-day operation of the club.
- Opening and closing the facility when required.
- Providing outstanding customer service and building positive relationships with members.
- Supporting the administration and development of our swim school programme. Assisting with membership and swimming lesson enquiries.
- Carrying out health and safety checks and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the club.
- Supporting members on the gym floor and carrying out gym inductions where qualified.
- Helping drive membership sales and swim school growth.
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the club continues to operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Being a positive role model for both staff and members.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience within a leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-facing role.
- Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
- Lifeguard Qualification.
- First Aid Qualification.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.

Hours
21 hours per week
A flexible approach is essential as shifts will include evenings, weekends and holiday cover.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- NPLQ or willing to do Emergency Responders Course (preferred)
