We are a newly opened café restaurant specialising in Korean-Asian food and café specialties. As our venture continues to grow into a full dine-in concept, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and be part of this next stage of our journey.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and genuinely interested in how a kitchen operates. You do not need fine dining experience, but basic kitchen skills, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow with us are essential.
You will support the kitchen during prep and service, assisting with food preparation, cleaning, stock organisation, and general kitchen duties to help service run smoothly. Responsibilities may include preparing ingredients, handling food and baked goods, and assisting the team during busy periods.
We currently serve Korean fried chicken, coffee, matcha, and desserts, and are developing a new menu with contemporary dishes as we continue expanding.
We are a small team and pride ourselves on maintaining a respectful and enjoyable workplace, where staff support each other and feel valued.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, consistent, and punctual
- Works hard and stays calm under pressure
- Has basic kitchen experience and familiarity with East-Asian cooking
- Takes ownership of prep, cleanliness, standards, and service
- Is willing to learn, listen, and improve
- Has a positive attitude and works well within a team
