Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our team, with a start time of 3.15pm. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a safe and welcoming learning environment. The position involves maintaining high standards of hygiene across school premises, ensuring that classrooms, corridors, and communal areas are clean and well-presented. Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid role is ideal for reliable candidates who take pride in their work and are committed to supporting the smooth running of our educational facilities.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, hallways, toilets, and communal areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces regularly throughout the school premises
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure it is stored securely after use
Term Time 41 weeks per year
