Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and with a strong mechanical attitude and the ability to work with various materials.
Duties
- Light fabrication and assemble metal structures using hand tools and power tools
- Perform welding tasks using mig welding techniques
- Read and interpret drawings to determine project specifications
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and material requirements
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve issues
- Work with metal to create components according to design specifications
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques, particularly mig welding
- Competent in using hand tools and power tools.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and material calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve challenges
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
