Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicles and machinery across our operations. Duties
- Diagnosing mechanical issues using hi-tec diagnostics machines
- Performing service maintenance on vehicles after reconditioning their engines.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Conducting inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Assisting with engine rebuilds and fitting of service parts
- Ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and quality requirements
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and maintenance needs
- Handling heavy lifting tasks safely during repairs or installations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential

Pay: £33,800.00-£39,000.00 per year
