Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
- Prepare ingredients, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, to facilitate efficient cooking processes
- Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients
- Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and courteous manner
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and uphold quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
