We have an induction programme and an exciting new preceptorship on its way, which will be tailored for all levels of experience. You will gain numerous paediatric emergency nursing skills, through university and in-house training, including; triage, plaster of paris, venepuncture and cannulation, APLS/EPLS, Pan London ED course and much more.
You will be welcomed and supported by a committed friendly team of experienced and motivated paediatric nurses working long days and nights and offering many a laugh along the way. Good communication skills, a positive approach and a sense of humour are essential.
We have a dedicated paediatric area as well as our own resuscitation bay and HDU room. We work collaboratively with Urgent Care, Adult Accident and Emergency, Paediatric Same Day Emergency Care Unit and Children’s Inpatient Ward.
Our people are our greatest asset. When we feel supported and happy at work, this positivity reaches those very people we are here for, the patients.
