The role
Join our team and be the welcoming face of our centre. As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating an outstanding first impression for customers, visitors, and callers by delivering a professional, friendly, and efficient service at all times.
Reporting to the Centre Manager or Master Manager, you will oversee day-to-day reception activities, manage bookings and enquiries, and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the centre. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will contribute to delivering a premium customer experience while helping maintain the high standards our clients and visitors expect.
Key accountabilities
As our Receptionist, no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, supporting customers, and keeping the centre running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming, assisting, and directing customers, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and a friendly approach.
- Acting as the first point of contact for telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
- Scheduling, amending, and managing bookings accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining customer records and ensuring relevant systems are kept up to date.
- Preparing invoices, correspondence, and other documentation in a timely manner.
- Processing customer payments and maintaining accurate financial records where applicable.
- Providing administrative support to the Centre Manager and wider team.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services.
- Ensuring reception and customer waiting areas are clean, organised, and always presentation-ready.
- Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly, escalating where appropriate.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and data protection requirements.
- Building positive and collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
