At Amazon Music, we’re reimagining how audio and entertainment enriches people’s lives. Whether it’s discovering new music, watching live performances, streaming a favorite podcast, diving into a gripping audiobook, or getting the latest merch drop; we create immersive, innovative experiences that connect artists & creators to customers around the world as only Amazon can.
We're looking for a dynamic, optimistic and curious Senior Art Director with exceptional creative craft and strong strategic thinking. This is an opportunity to shape how Amazon Music shows up; while growing within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As a Senior Art Director, you'll operate at the intersection of brand, culture and entertainment. You'll lead the creative vision for global content campaigns, playlist artwork, artist activations and brand experiences - translating customer insights, business objectives and cultural trends into compelling visual storytelling and systems that scale.
You'll work independently in an environment where opportunities are often complex and ambiguous, and the best creative solutions have yet to be defined.
You'll partner with Marketing, Industry, Programming, Product, Strategy, Research, and Design teams to establish creative direction, influence decisions across the organisation and raise the creative bar for Amazon Music globally.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the creative direction for Amazon Music across music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
- Lead end-to-end creative strategy and execution for global content campaigns, playlists, cultural moments and artist activations across in-app, onsite, social, OOH, experiential and emerging channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, social, editorial, and production to maintain alignment throughout each phase of development, from concept to final delivery
- Define and implement creative specifications through visual guidelines, templates, and streamlined workflows
- Champion high design standards and consistency across every campaign and content asset
- Develop and maintain scalable content frameworks and visual systems that drive efficiency at scale
- Mentor junior-mid-level designers, providing constructive and actionable feedback; fostering an empathetic culture and growth mentality.
