Key Skills
The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the requirements in a busy engineering environment. The role is hands on and can be physically demanding due to the nature of the product.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Building mechanical assemblies
- Painting (powder coating) & degreasing
- General fabrication including cutting and drilling
- Riveting
- Press brake operation
- Accurate reading of machine drawings
- Maintenance of work area
- Restocking of work area
- Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to accurately read machine drawings (desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail (essential)
- Able to work to deadlines (essential).
- Experience using hand tools would be advantageous.
- Pro-active approach to work.
- Keen to be part of a team.
- Willing to learn and develop within the company.
