We are a small, family-run electrical company based in Worcester, working on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects across the UK, with the majority of our work currently focused across the South West of England.
We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working on different types of projects, is comfortable travelling for work, and wants the opportunity to develop their skills beyond traditional electrical installation.
The Role
As an Industrial Electrician, you will work across a broad range of projects, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and associated works for our customers.
While industrial electrical work will be at the heart of the role, we are particularly interested in someone who is willing to work across different areas of the industry, including:
- Industrial and commercial electrical installation
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Network/data cabling
- AV and associated systems
- Fire alarm and fire safety systems
- Testing and basic commissioning
- Working alongside and supporting apprentices
- Travelling to sites across the South West and occasionally further afield
You don't need to be an expert in every area. A willingness to learn and get stuck into different types of work is more important to us.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified electrician
- Has experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
- Is confident working independently and as part of a small team
- Is comfortable working away from home when required
- Takes pride in producing a high standard of work
- Has good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Is reliable, organised and professional with customers
- Is happy working alongside an apprentice and helping them develop
- Has a flexible, can-do attitude
- Is willing to learn new skills and work outside their usual area of expertise
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Additional experience in data/network cabling, AV, fire alarms, access control or other low-voltage systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Professional Development
We believe in investing in our people. If there are areas where you'd like to develop your skills or qualifications, we are willing to support and fund appropriate training courses as part of your professional development.
The aim is to build a team of well-rounded electricians who can confidently tackle a wide variety of projects rather than being restricted to one area of the trade.
Why Join Us?
As a small family-run business, you'll be more than just a number. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the owners and wider team, take responsibility for your work, and have a genuine input into the way projects are delivered.
The work is varied, so no two weeks are necessarily the same. One project could involve industrial installation, while another might involve network cabling, AV, fire safety or general electrical works.
If you're an electrician who enjoys variety, doesn't mind travelling, and wants to develop your skills and progress professionally, we'd like to hear from you.
Company van will be provided upon successful completion of probationary period.
Pay: £20.08-£31.14 per hour
