Tea and the Gang (TATG Catering Ltd) has recently opened an exciting new café in the heart of Watford’s business district and we’re looking for a passionate Chef Manager to lead the kitchen.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves fresh food, brunch-style service, and taking ownership of a growing site from the very beginning.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the menu, standards, and kitchen culture in a stylish, modern café environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Leading all day-to-day kitchen operations
2. Creating and delivering a fresh, seasonal daytime menu
3. Managing stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
4. Maintaining high food hygiene and allergen standards
5. Training and motivating a small kitchen team
6. Developing specials and new menu ideas
7. Working closely with the Operations Manager and café team
What We’re Looking For
1. Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Lead
2. Café / brunch-style experience is essential
3. Passion for quality food and presentation
4. Strong organisation and leadership skills
5. Ability to work independently and use initiative
6. Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
