Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yardman/Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and ensuring smooth delivery and receiving operations. Your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will help maintain efficient yard operations and uphold our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the yard and warehouse. Tipping concrete into trailers.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Ensure the yard remains tidy, secure, and compliant with safety standards
- Dealing with customers on a daily basis
- Basic Computer skills
- Answering phones in busy periods
- Certain amount of manual handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or yard management, including forklift operation
- Forklift experience
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork
