Job Overview
Hazardous Waste Driver, required to move packaged waste from Hazardous Waste Transfer Station in Bedford to a variation of outlets across the UK. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Competitive salary offered.
Applicant must hold clean drivers licence, Class 1 & ADR Licence
Duties to include:
Safely and efficiently operate a variation of vehicles from panel vans to tractor units to transport waste across the UK.
Following planned and most efficient routes
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
Communicate with both customers and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
Requirements:
Clean/Valid driver's license
ADR License
Commercial driving experience is preferred
Ability to drive and navigate through various road conditions
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting/ manoeuvring.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers/suppliers and team members
