Lead the Shift. Maintain Standards. Support the Team.
We’re looking for a hands-on Shift Leader to help run daily operations and support the management team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and can keep the team organised during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
Shift Operations
- Lead shifts and support daily operations
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
- Maintain speed of service and customer satisfaction
- Support all stations when required (FOH, fryer, grill, assembly, packing)
- Allocate staff effectively during service
Team Leadership
- Support, motivate and guide team members
- Ensure staff follow procedures and standards
- Assist with training new starters
- Report performance issues to management
- Lead by example and maintain a positive work ethic
Standards & Accountability
- Complete opening, mid-shift and closing checks
- Ensure cleaning schedules and checklists are completed properly
- Monitor food quality, hygiene and presentation
- Ensure stations remain stocked, clean and organised
- Report maintenance, stock or operational issues
Customer Service
- Resolve customer issues professionally
- Support the team during busy periods
- Ensure a positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, takeaway or QSR environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Reliable, organised and proactive
- Willing to work across all stations
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ownership mentality
