As a CBREElectrical Technician, you will inspect, repair, replace, install, wire,adjust, and maintain all equipment for an assigned location.
This job is partof the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsiblefor providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment andsystems.
What You’ll Do: Review and follow instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work to be done. Successfully complete SSW’s and specific training Advise when the immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage, or when temporarily continued operations will have no harmful effect. Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, etc. electrical equipment taking all safety precautions. Make mechanical repairs as required in connection with the servicing of electrical equipment. Install, splice, or replace sections of wire incidental to repair or temporary installation. Make emergency mechanical repairs without other maintenance personnel.
Use existing procedures to solvestraightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercisediscretion.
Impact through clearly definedduties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by followingdefined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
18 th Edition
Meet the physical requirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in theapplication of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforwardinformation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to work with other trades and a teamplayer
