Job Summary
The Rocca Group is looking for a creative Content Creator to join us one day a week, producing social-first content across our four venues: Cafe Calton, The Broughton, Clarets and The Seafood Ristorante.
Each venue has its own identity, audience and style, so we’re looking for someone who can understand what makes each one different and bring that to life through engaging, high-quality content.
Working closely with our Head of Marketing, you’ll spend your time across Edinburgh and St Andrews capturing everything from food and drinks to our teams, events, atmosphere and the day-to-day moments that make great social content.
You must be based in Edinburgh and able to travel to St Andrews as required.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating engaging photo and video content across all four Rocca Group venues
- Shooting and editing short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Capturing food, drinks, people, events and venue atmosphere
- Developing creative ideas and spotting opportunities for content while on location
- Creating content that feels natural and current rather than overly staged
- Adapting your approach to suit the individual personality of each venue
- Working alongside our Head of Marketing to deliver against monthly content plans and upcoming campaigns
- Keeping an eye on social trends and finding ways to use them that feel relevant to our brands
What we’re looking for
You’ll have a strong eye for content and understand what makes people stop scrolling. You should be confident shooting and editing content independently, with a good understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
Experience in hospitality, food or lifestyle content would be a bonus, but we’re more interested in your creativity, visual style and understanding of social media.
You’ll need to be comfortable travelling between our Edinburgh and St Andrews venues, with the working day/location varying depending on what content is needed that week.
