Pan-Indian Cuisine Chef
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pan-Indian Cuisine Chef to prepare authentic dishes from various regions of India while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Indian regional cuisines, spices, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a wide range of North, South, and Indian dishes.
* Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
* Develop and introduce seasonal and innovative Pan-Indian menu offerings.
* Supervise food preparation, portion control, and plating.
* Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and stock management.
* Minimize food wastage and control food costs.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Work closely with the Head Chef and restaurant management to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Pan-Indian Chef or Indian Cuisine Chef.
* Strong knowledge of regional Indian cuisines, spices, and traditional cooking techniques.
* Experience with tandoor, curry, biryani, street food, and regional specialties is preferred.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations.
* Culinary qualification is an advantage.
