Are you an experienced Solar PV Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity with an established and growing renewable energy business?
We’re working with a specialist renewable energy company that is looking to add an experienced Solar PV Electrician to their team, working across Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging installations, commissioning, servicing and maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who already has solid Solar PV installation experience and is looking to join a forward-thinking business where they can continue to develop their technical expertise while working on a varied range of domestic and commercial projects.

The Role
Working across Kent, London and the Southeast, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and maintenance of renewable energy systems across both domestic and commercial properties.
You will be working across:
- Solar PV installations
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- EV Charging Systems
- Electrical distribution and associated equipment
- Inspection, testing and certification
- Fault diagnosis and remedial works
- Planned and reactive maintenance
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and commissioning Solar PV systems
- Installing and commissioning battery storage systems
- Installing and fault-finding EV charging equipment
- Carrying out electrical inspection and testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and system faults
- Carrying out system maintenance and remedial works
- Completing certification, reports and technical documentation
- Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671 and relevant industry standards
- Working safely and professionally across customer sites
- Providing a high level of customer service
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced electrician with a strong background in Solar PV and renewable energy installations.
You will ideally have:
- Proven Solar PV installation experience
- Experience with Battery Storage systems
- Experience installing or working with EV Chargers
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
- AM2
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
