Bar Person -The Bedford Swan Hotel
£12.71 per hour + TRONC (£30–£60 per week depending on hours worked)
A brilliant opportunity to join the busy food and beverage team at The Bedford Swan Hotel.
Located on the banks of the Great Ouse, The Bedford Swan is a busy 137-bedroom hotel with the Pen & Cob Brasserie, Terrace Bar, afternoon tea offering and a thriving Conference & Banqueting operation. With hotel guests, local customers, weddings, private events and corporate functions, no two shifts are quite the same.
We are looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Bar Person to join our team, working across the Pen & Cob Brasserie, Terrace Bar and our Conference & Banqueting department.
You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a range of hot and cold drinks to our standards, taking payments through the till system and helping with the opening and closing of the bar. You'll make sure the bar is always clean, well presented and fully stocked, while developing great product knowledge so you can confidently make recommendations and deliver excellent customer service.
This is a zero-hours contract, but as a busy hotel operation there will be plenty of hours available.
Previous hospitality experience is essential, ideally gained within a busy bar, restaurant or hotel environment. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working at pace, enjoys being part of a team and, most importantly, genuinely enjoys looking after guests.
