About the Role
We're recruiting Support Workers for a flexible agency role, supporting individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities (including autism), and physical or sensory disabilities. You'll help service users with daily routines, activities, and general wellbeing, following individual care plans and organisational standards.
This is a great opportunity for experienced care workers — or eligible students — looking for varied shifts across different services.
Locations: Nottingham and surrounding areas, including NG5 and NG3, depending on service needs and availability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting service users with daily routines and activities
- Assisting with personal care in line with individual care plans
- Helping with domestic tasks — cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Encouraging independence, social engagement, and participation in activities
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and support guidelines
- Using appropriate, positive approaches when supporting behaviours that challenge
- Keeping accurate records and reporting concerns promptly
- Working professionally alongside permanent staff and management
- Promoting dignity, respect, and safeguarding at all times
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months' care experience in the UK (essential)
- Experience supporting individuals with daily routines and activities
- Experience with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
- Understanding of care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Ability to adapt professionally across different care settings
- Valid NAPPI training (or willingness to complete training if eligible)

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
