We are looking to recruit a hardworking individual to join our team servicing areas in East Staffordshire and Derbyshire as a New Build Cleaner. We specialise in new build cleaning, working with some of the most reputable house builders within the sector.
Duties of this physical job role will include:
- Scraping, sweeping, mopping and polishing of hard floor areas
- Vacuuming carpets and furnishings
- Cleaning, wiping, dusting and polishing of surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture
- De-taping and cleaning internal/external window frames and glazing keeping substantially free from dirt, marks and deposits
- Compound / Sales Office Cleaning and Sanitising
Other duties may be requested from site to site on the various active construction sites that we attend.
We are looking for a reliable person with a positive attitude, who can work as part of a team, with attention to detail. Some cleaning experience is preferential, but if you have no previous build cleaning experience full training will be given. You must follow all Health and Safety regulations ensuring that all operatives are working in a safe environment. Applicants must be prepared to take their CSCS Health and Safety Skills Cards test if not already qualified - the Company will advance the cost of this.
A full clean driving licence/own vehicle is preferential as self transportation is required to get to varying locations. A company van could be accessible to the right candidate once a trial period has been undertaken, subject to age requirements.
PPE: All PPE is provided
Working Hours: The Candidate ideally will be able to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends due to the demand of workload. However, the company would consider set hours.
