Overview
We are seeking a talented, conscientious and creative Kitchen and Bedroom Designer to join our dynamic team initially to cover maternity leave but with a view to developing into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, helping clients create their dream kitchens and bedrooms. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing innovative design solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience from concept to completion. This role requires strong communication skills, a firm understanding of the installation process and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their kitchen design preferences and requirements.
- Create detailed kitchen layouts using specific software and Salesforce.
- Present design concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback into final designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist in upselling products and services that enhance the overall design.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain organised project documentation and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software and design concepts. Training provided for latest software.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Welsh.
- Experience in sales or upselling within a retail or design environment is preferred.
- A creative mindset with a passion for interior design, particularly kitchens.
- Previous experience in kitchen design or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
