West Lancs Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasehold Officer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction and the efficient management of West Lancashire's Leasehold and Shared Ownership properties.
You will be part of a small team and will support the Leasehold Manager in the day to day work related to all leasehold and shared ownership matters.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of leasehold and shared ownership legislation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. You will provide specialist advice, guidance and support to our customers, including staircasing, lease queries and resales, to provide a seamless homeownership experience.
You will work closely with the Sundry Debtors and Legal teams to proactively manage service charge arrears, while collaborating with wider housing teams to resolve leaseholder enquiries and provide clear, informed guidance.
The role demands a detail-oriented individual with good analytical skills to provide clear guidance while maintaining a customer focused approach.

You will adhere to the Council’s Expected Behavioural Standards ensuring that a high standard of customer care is maintained and dealt with in a courteous manner.
