Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Technician specialising in pool table cushions to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality cushions, ensuring they meet our standards for durability and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Cutting and shaping fabric to precise specifications for pool table cushions
- Using hand tools and power tools to assemble cushion components accurately
- Stapling fabric covers with attention to detail, ensuring tight seams and a professional finish
- Conducting quality checks on finished cushions to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power tools
- Proficiency in sewing and fabricating upholstery components
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable, particularly involving assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills for managing multiple tasks
- Experience working with fabric is essential
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
