Customer Experience Executive for our Jam Factory - Join our friendly, passionate jam team!
Location: Warmley BS30 (half-way between Bristol & Bath)
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm
Reporting to: Founder & MD Nicola and working day to day alongside our factory manager Chris.
Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.

About the Role:
We’re looking to employ a full time Customer Experience Executive. You'll be at the heart of our relationships with both our online and wholesale customers. You'll deliver warm, friendly and genuinely helpful support that keeps our customers coming back.
Main responsibilities:
As a guide, the job will be split roughly:
- Resolving online customer queries by email and telephone (40%)
- Using our inventory system and website (Unleashed and Shopify) to amend and process orders ready for the factory to pack (30%) – includes handwriting gift notes so your handwriting must be neat and legible!
- Liaising with our couriers to ensure that deliveries arrive on time, and resolving any issues that may arise (10%)
- Processing wholesale customer orders and gently upselling when we have new products (10%)
- Answering telephone calls and inbound email queries (5%)
- Assistance to MD and factory manager in admin tasks (5%)
Essential requirements:
- Customer care – you have a natural desire to ensure all our customers have a great customer experience, and can turn a bad experience such as damaged jam into a happy customer for life.
- Proactive and solution-oriented – We always find a solution, not just apologise.
- Resilient and able to deal with tricky situations and unhappy customers in a kind way.
- Great telephone manner and confident in making outbound calls to customers
- Computer competence: we use a lot of different systems in the Jam Factory (Unleashed, Shiptheory, Shopify, courier portals and more!) and you must be confident in learning and using these systems day to day – troubleshooting when things go wrong and proactively finding ways to do things better.
- Neat handwriting as you will be handwriting customer messages.
- Experience in a customer service role.
Desirable:
- Experience using Unleashed and Shopify.
- 1-2 years experience in a customer service role within e-commerce or food.
