Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure the smooth operation of the bar, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately to customers
- Take orders and handle cash transactions with precision using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing regulations
- Replenish stock levels regularly and assist with stock rotation
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent hospitality
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
- Strong knowledge of alcohol licensing laws
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and calculating bills accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
