Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence for 7.5 tonne and 10 tonne vehicles and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves the transportation of goods to and from various locations within NI and ROI, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Duties
- Operate our 7.5 tonne and 10 tonne flatbed lorrys for the safe delivery of goods to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly
- Carry our general support work when factory based.

Requirements
- Valid Clean UK driving licence for 10 & 7.5 tonne vehicles C1 + Driver CPC + HGV
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving best practices
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
