Queens Court (downstairs bar) opens between 12 midday and 2am and Glamorous (upstairs bar) opens between 10pm and 5am, so shifts may fall anytime within these hours.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, with professionalism and care
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to maintain a lively pace
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and handle transactions using POS systems with basic maths skills
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and tools are available during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene
Experience
- Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Knowledge of serving techniques, drink recipes, and bar equipment is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately and giving correct change
