Role Overview
As a self-employed housekeeper with Poppies Cleaning Services, you’ll visit clients’ homes to carry out regular, deep, or one-off cleans. You’ll have the freedom to choose your working hours, manage your schedule, and take on the jobs that suit you – all while having the backing of a trusted brand to find and support your clients.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general house cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Change bedding and do laundry/ironing where requested.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Follow client-specific instructions for each job.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing the Poppies Cleaning Services brand.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Access to your own cleaning products and equipment (or willingness to supply them).
- Right to work in the UK and registered as self-employed (or willing to register).
