Your role
Ensure all goods inward deliveries are input into the business system on arrival at site
Inspect deliveries against orders, ensuring they match, identifying any anomalies and taking appropriate action as required.
Inspect deliveries for possible transit damage, recording damage on the delivery note prior to signing. • Determine the schedule for deliveries at least 24 hours in advance, allocating time slots where necessary.
Responsible for location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc. • Support outbound shipping process • Accurately enter/extract data from ERP systems.
Conduct daily, weekly & monthly stock takes, maintaining accurate records. • Lead continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes.
Coordinate sales samples ensuring sent to relevant parties and data collated for cost analysis
Complying with & promoting best practice in Health & Safety and Environmental matters as established through the Company Policy.
To adopt a ‘clean as you go’ approach to ensure housekeeping standards are effectively maintained.
To carry out additional and/or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business
Your profile
The ability to work to deadlines along with excellent planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills
Competent computer user with good attention to detail
Must have a driving license, along with Reach and counterbalance Forklift license
Awareness of current Health & Safety practices.
Previous Goods inward and warehousing experience.
Hours of Work Monday to Friday, Rotating Weekly shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. With flexibility to ensure smooth handover.
