Job Overview
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. You will assist with routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support the team in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help uphold our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Support mechanical repairs as needed to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols when working with programmable logic controllers and electrical systems
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff repair requests promptly and professionally
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to building systems, equipment, and machinery
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers used in automation systems
- Proven maintenance skills across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate team efforts effectively
- Good communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interactions
- Customer service mindset with the ability to handle requests professionally
