Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Hours of work will be 11am - 8pm Monday - Friday.
45 Minute Paid break per day.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries.
- Build and assemble picking pallets as required for dispatch
- Execute picking and packing duties with precision to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring that all stock is stored correctly and safely.
Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain stock accuracy and cleanliness in the warehouse.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- FLT licenses advantageous (Counterbalance and/or Flexi)
