Overview
We’re looking for someone to join the bar team part-time, around 10–15 hours a week, Typically one midweek evening and one weekend (evening) shift.
This isn’t a chain. It’s a small, independent spot. Giant pizzas, pints, cocktails and live sport on the screens. Some nights it’s families and date nights. Some nights it’s match day and the place is bouncing. We need someone who can keep the bar moving, interact with customers, and not get flustered when it’s busy.
This role will consist of making drinks, till, keeping things tidy, making people feel looked after as soon as they walk in. Part of the role is taking food to tables and checking on food eating customers. Also, ensuring the service area is tidy and everything is running smoothly.
What we’re looking for
- Solid Hospitality, café or bar experience
- Friendly, clear, and comfortable chatting to customers
- Reliable — you turn up, and you tell us early if you can’t
- Fine with evenings and one weekend shift a week (occasionally 2)
- Happy in a small team in a busy, independent venue
- Right to work in the UK
Bar experience is a bonus, not a must. Knowing your way around a pint, a simple cocktail, or a busy Friday is useful. Being decent with people matters more.
