At Inspire, we are looking for an Employment & Skills Coach to join our Youth Employment Service, supporting young people aged 16–24 who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).
This is a hugely rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference—working one-to-one with young people to build confidence, develop skills, and support them into positive futures.
About the role
As an Employment & Skills Coach, you will:
- Support young people with a range of needs to progress into employment, education or training
- Manage your own caseload, tracking progress and outcomes
- Deliver Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), including CV support and interview preparation
- Run engaging 1-1 sessions and group workshops on employability skills
- Match young people to job and training opportunities
- Build strong relationships with local partners, employers, and communities You’ll also play a key role in helping us achieve meaningful outcomes, with a strong focus on supporting young people into sustainable employment and learning opportunities.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Experience delivering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
- Experience working with young people (youth work, outreach or similar)
- Experience delivering employability or skills-based sessions
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload
- We’d love it if you also have:
- Experience supporting young people who are NEET
- Knowledge of local labour market opportunities
- Experience working with partner organisations such as Jobcentre Plus or education providers
Salary: £24,762 – £28,117
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term until March 2028
Location: Mobile role across Lowestoft (office base in Lowestoft)
