Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumber’s Mate with a valid van to join our team.
Exact rate dependent upon experience, support provided with petrol costs as required.
This role involves assisting experienced plumbers in various installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across commercial and residential sites.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within the plumbing industry while contributing to high-quality service delivery.
Support offered for operatives completing NVQ portfolios.
Duties
- Assist qualified plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Do material runs as required, driving to location as required
- Installer will initially have a support role on sensitive or challenging installations but shall be pushed to carry out smaller works unsupervised
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials such as pipes, fittings, and equipment as required.
- Drive company van to various locations, ensuring timely arrival at job sites.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and insured van / large car .
- CSCS card would be advantageous, company can help provide a basic CSCS as required
- Must have basic tools, power tools can be provided
- Must speak good level English
- Completes training as required e.g. online working at height course
