Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Support the team in plating and presentation of meals to meet quality standards
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Serve food efficiently and courteously when required, providing excellent customer service
- Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is desirable but not essential for enthusiastic learners
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
